So what did the person below me on this bed is all true. the gills are thin, cheap and only 4. is too low from the head leaving a gap between the mattress and the heardboard. but, having said that, its nothing that cant be fixed. I must admit that when I put my mattress on the slats and go to bed, I immediately sank between the slats. so, unfortunately, this may not be a bed platform. all I had to do to fix all the problems was to use my mattress under my mattress. This solved the problem of sinking cues, gave me more support and sets the space between the mattress and the heardboard. now, I absolutely love the bed!
